Q: Is there any dos and don'ts after the wooden door arriving in my place?

A: Before installation:

1. To avoid deformation, the wooden door must be placed horizontally lying on the ground (the stacking height should not exceed 1 meter);

2. Place the wooden doors in a dry and ventilated room to avoid dampness; Shield or screen them from long time direct-sun exposure;

3. Protect the wooden door from abnormal impact or contact with corrosive substances such as paintings, etc;

4. The installation positions must be processed wtih necessary moisture-proof and anti-corrosion treatment.

After installation:

1. Avoid sharp or heavy objects colliding with the door, to avoid damage or scratching;

2. If the humidity and temperature for the two sides of the door are quite different, please keep the door open to avoid deformation;

3. Avoid hanging heavy objects and pedaling on the door leaf;

4. When opening the door lock and turning the handle, please do not use excessive force. Improper use may reduce the service life;

5. During usage, if hinges, door locks, etc. become loose, please tighten them immediately. When the hinge sounds, please lubricate it;

6. When there are stains or water on the door, wipe with a soft and dry cloth. Using professional wood product maintenance products can extend the service life.
